If there was one thing our guests kept asking us on our wedding day, it's this: 'How did you manage to find him and where from?' They are of course refering to Harry, our Toastmaster/Co-ordinator.
We met Harry in 2005 at a Wedding Fayre and after being blown away with his professionalism and confidence; my fiance and I booked him for our wedding two years in advance. I must admit, when we told our parents, they weren't really convinced that he would be worth the money, but after the wedding, they would have been willing to pay double!!
A couple of weeks before the wedding, Harry made arrangements to meet me, Stephen and my parents at home. He was very organised, he asked for seating plans in church; and gave our ushers cue cards to use on the day to make sure everybody would be where I wanted them to be., Having spoken to Harry about the music on my entrance to the church, Harry set up his sound system and we left everything to him.
On the day, everyone was seated correctly in the church, the timing of the music was perfect. As he announced my arrival, it brought a tear to my eye.
At the reception, Harry had delivered our gifts for family and friends. He was a massive help in getting people together for the photos and I felt very happy leaving everything with him. He also took some special camera shots on our digital camera of our guests enjoying their meal.
A great help was the assistance Harry gave to my father with his speech.
All in all, a fantastic day and money well spent... made me feel very special.
